Criminal Methodology

Regarding inquiries concerning why criminal organizations employ a technique that proves highly susceptible to weather factors rather than more controllable drones, officials clarified that "Atmospheric equipment are simple mechanisms used by illegal traders - they are more economical than drones for carrying smoking materials from Belarus."

Security Service Goals

Authorities continued that "The goal of law enforcement is to confiscate the maximum possible amounts of illegal goods and to arrest masterminds and involved individuals so that these practices become not financially viable and create minimal risk to passenger aircraft."

International Concerns

Similar occurrences in adjacent nations have caused EU officials to fast-track conversations about improving airspace protection throughout European airspace.
